Treatment Points
Kiiko’s scoliosis pattern refers specifically to scoliosis that develops during adolesence.
May cause complaints other than pain - including digestive.
- Makes a good treatment for scoliosis surgery recovery.
Look for an S-curve in the spine.
If the upper curve is towards the right, treat on the right: GB39, LU7, TH
- T5 tenderness is often a good reflex for finding point location.
- The correct location for GB39 is a tender point.
If the lower curve is towards the left, treat on the left: KD7
- T5 tenderness is again often a good reflex.
Supplemental Treatments:
- Bone (KD7, KD27, LU5, UB11)
- Sacrum
For any disc issue: REN12
Any low back pain: SP9, GB34
Sciatica: KD16 - 45 degree angle towards umbilicus
Piriformis Muscle: both sciatica and GYN patterns
- Try releasing GYN line on lower abdomen to release piriformis
- GB31 to release piriformis
Tightness in Bladder channel, caused by SI channel tightness, related to eye strain and problems
If lots of computer work, may have eye strain - treat UB2 and yuyao to release SI and UB channel and low back pain and sciatica.
