Cautions & Contraindications:

  • Contraindicated for those with diarrheas due to deficiency and weakness of the Spleen and Stomach. Should not be combined with drugs of the Aconitum complex.

Actions & Indications:

  • Clears the Lungs and transforms phlegm: for phlegm-heat in the chest or dry cough with difficult-to- expectorate sputum and dry throat due to wind-heat.
  • Regulates the qi and expands the chest: painful obstruction, clumping in the chest, and the early stages of breast abscess.
