Actions & Indications:

  • Cools the blood and stops bleeding: for damp-heat patterns of the LI when bleeding is present. Especially important for bleeding hemorrhoids and bloody dysenteric disorders. Also used or coughing of blood,nosebleed, or uterine bleeding.
  • Cools the LV: for red eyes, headache, and dizziness due to LV heat. Can be taken as a daily beverage for this purpose.
